Seven Jordanian enterprises participated in the MACFRUT 2023 exhibition, which took place in Rimini, Italy, from May 3–5, 2023. This represented a significant opportunity for the Jordanian and Italian markets to enhance cooperation and interaction.

MACFRUT was one of the most important trade fairs for the fruit and vegetable industry in Europe, providing a platform for exhibitors to showcase their products and services, network with other professionals in the industry, and learn about the latest trends and innovations in the sector under the umbrella of three main keywords: “business, knowledge, and networking.”

The event featured exhibitors from various fruit and vegetable industry sectors, including fresh produce, processing and packaging equipment, logistics and transport, and much more. It also hosted a range of conferences and seminars covering topics such as market trends, sustainability, and innovation in the industry. The expectation of this exhibition was high, with more than 1000 exhibitors from 60 countries, 500 professional buyers, and more than 50,000 visitors from all over the world.

The participating Jordanian enterprises, including “Sand Rose Farm, Sedrat Al Montaha for dates, Al-Dana dates, Jordan River dates, The Jordanian Palestinian Agricultural Products Marketing Company, Madaba Heritage Company for coffee productions, and Alayla dates,” were excited about the opportunity to have a business-to-business (B2B) meeting that allowed one business to sell goods or services to another business, or they could collaborate or exchange information with each other for mutual benefit.

The Jordanian enterprises that participated in the MACFRUT exhibition had the chance to present their services and products and to get a business opportunity through a workshop called “A Way Toward the Jordanian Agri-Food Sector, Discover It!” that was led by “MoITS, JEPA, JODA, and JSMO,” who also presented other Jordanian enterprises providing services and products in the same field.
